Home Health Care
Home Health professionals provide adults and seniors with short-term nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, and assistive home health care services. This care is provided by registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), speech language pathologists (SLPs), home health aides (HHAs) and medical social workers (MSWs) as a limited number of up to one hour visits, primarily through the Medicare Home Health benefit.
Why home health care?
There are many reasons why people may need health care at home. Some are recovering from surgery or have a chronic condition requiring ongoing care. Others need certain therapies or could use some assistance with activities of daily living.
What brings people to Achilles Home Health is the experience we’ve earned day by day, and client by client, for helping people live safely at home with comfort, respect, independence, and dignity.
There is nothing finer than getting better in the comfort of your own home. While many of our clients are eligible to enter a facility, they want to remain in their own homes, surrounded by family and friends. We are there to help them live their best lives at home. Not only is home health care preferred by most people, it’s a fiscally responsible method of care.
